The CD includes performances of commissioned works by Dave Hollinden, Joseph Koykkar and Joel Nauman as well as Coil by Evan Hause.  The 2006-2007 performance season will include appearances at the Society of Composers National Conference and the Percussive Arts Society International Convention as well as other various performances in the US and Australia.

Sole Nero - Piano and Percussion Duo, based in Madison, Wisconsin, USA is committed to exploring and programming new and existing works for piano and percussion duo.  In an effort to contribute to the repertoire of this diverse medium, we are engaged in an extensive commissioning project resulting, thus far, in six new works composed expressly for the duo.  Sole Nero has performed extensively in the United States and recently appeared in Shenyang and Beijing, China.  In 2004, the duo released its first compact disc recording Music per Due on the Equilibrium label.
